Fantastic Overview for Medical Students

I had a hard time with cardiovascular pathophysiology when we covered it in our second year medical school course. Many of my friends had bought this book but I was reluctant to buy it due to the expensive price tag. I ended up being very fortunate and finding a copy in the hospital library. As soon as I started reading it, the material started to make a lot more sense.
I ended up buying a copy off of amazon after my exam because it's the kind of book that I can see myself referring to again and again in my training. It's written really clearly and concisely and is geared towards medical students, unlike some medical physiology textbooks that can be extremely dry and hard to digest. I would recommend this book to any medical student having trouble with cardiovascular pathophysiology or anyone who wants a basic comprehensive guide to heart and vascular disease.

Absolutely incredible

I don't really need to say too much since there are glowing reviews everywhere, but let me just add to the hype: this book is AMAZING for pathophysiology of the heart. Plus, there is an excellent EKG section, and the pharmacology is also quite good.
Definitely recommended for those seeking a DEEPER understanding of heart disease (ie. applying laplace's law to understand why hypertrophy occurs) and all the conditions related to it.
