5th Edition is the BEST for the PE exam - saves you TONS of time

This is the best reference book for the civil engineering PE exam. The 5th edition is the BEST because it is the last edition that uses english units - meaning there is no conversion necessary for the exam. All of the newer editions are in SI units. This reference book will save you a ton of time during the exam - every minute counts. The key to this book is the tables... everything is worked out for you and all you have to do is look at the tables to find your answer. No more lengthy formulas for problem solving!!! If you are taking the Water Resources depth exam for the PE this book is a MUST!!!

To get non-metric get the old version used

I've been borrowing this book from other engineers now for 30 years. Don't need it every day, but when I need it nothing else will do. Time to get my own copy.
If you work in english units (cfs) best to order the older version used.
